Our Speaker Bureau is dedicated to brining quality information to seminar participants in a way that is usable. Eliminating jargon and technobabble and providing our audience with a new way to look at things and make the world make a little more sense.

Unlike other speakers our speakers know and live their material. They do not require computers, projectors or other prompts to assist them. They also are not caught off guard by questions that participants may have for them. Participants are encouraged to stop them at any point and ask questions to clarify information being given. They also will stay after the seminar to answer any individual or specific questions that participants may have and are not afraid to change the format from a structured seminar to a Q&A format.

About Our Speaker
Leonard Manion has a double Bachelor's Degree in Counseling & Family Relations and a double Master's Degree in Counseling & Human Communications. During the 80's he was a very successful and profitable marketing consultant and contributing editor to numerous business publications of the time. In 1990, he walked away from his chosen career to work with the disabled. In 2000 he did a brief counseling stint at the Fordland Correctional Institute for drug rehabilitation. He served as a drug counselor before pursuing his career as a speaker for support groups and non profits. In 2001 he began offering seminars to non-profits on both business and health. Giving seminars to such groups as Southwest Center for Independent Living in Springfield, MO.

Leonard's seminars are unique in that rather than providing regurgitated facts he spends time helping seminar participants to understand the information being provided and how it affects them. He breaks down the business or health jargon into concepts that are readily understood. More importantly, into concepts that are useable. Unlike other speakers who may hide behind jargon and their "expertise" he's not afraid to take the time to explain the information or to tell you he doesn't know something.

Although Leonard has recognized expertise in business marketing, sales, development and advertising it should be noted that he holds no official or formal certification on health related topics. All information whether it be on business or health are informational in nature with the final decision and responsibility being on the participants of the seminar.

Fees
Fees for speaking engagements are very reasonable. All fees are donations to MsWeCare a non profit that Leonard supports. These donations then go to support various projects the non profit sponsors. These projects include but are not limited to warm winter coats for the disabled who can not afford their own and video and audio cd/dvd for those who are homebound.

Support Group Fees:
Fees depend upon your group or non profit. Support groups are charged a small fee of $5 per person plus mileage and expenses if outside the Springfield Metro area. However, at this low rate Leonard doesn't travel beyond a twenty mile range of Springfield, MO. A minimum of twenty people must be in attendance for out of town engagements and a minimum of ten for in town engagements. Fees are also dependent upon how long the seminar is to be. Time can be from one hour to three your to a maximum of six hours. Fees must be paid in advance. No refunds offered but rescheduling is an option.

*NOTE: If your group is very small then we would suggest that you invite other small support groups who may have an interest in the same topics.

Non Profit Fees:
Non profits fees are an affordable ten dollars per person for a one hour seminar with a minimum of twenty people. Five hundred dollars for a three hour seminar for up to fifty people. And one thousand dollars for a six hour seminar with up to one hundred participants. Mileage and expense fees are additional for out of town engagements. Fees must be paid in advance. No refunds offered but rescheduling is an option.

Availability
Leonard is noted as someone who can walk in cold at the last minute to present a seminar if your speaker has cancelled at the last minute. He does require a minimum of three hour notice. Otherwise, speaking engagements should be scheduled a minimum of two weeks in advance. Any and all seminars can be customized for a specific group. Be sure to let us know in advance what your requirements are.
